Mare Mud is inspired by the Muddy Mare herself, who, on beautiful summer days loves to roll around in the mud! It’s as if she’s painting herself in the gorgeous brown Virginia clay.
Use this invigorating blend of fair-trade coffee, cocoa, and clay as a facial scrub, polish or mask to get baby soft skin.
+COFFEE: high in antioxidants such as phenols, which help fight free radicals, coffee protects the skin from damage and, as a result, may help reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, enlarged pores, acne, scarring, hyperpigmentation, and loose skin.
+BENTONITE CLAY: Antibacterial and anti-inflammatory, bentonite clay absorbs oil like a sponge.
+KAOLIN CLAY: The most mild and gentle of the clays, Kaolin clay is soothing and absorbs oil without stripping.
Directions: Mix 1-2 teaspoons with warm water or hydrosol and blend into a paste. Apply mix to skin and allow to harden slightly (about 10 minutes). Lay a hot, wet washcloth over face to soften mask and gently polish skin in circular motions. Inhale….rinse with warm water….Exhale…Ahh…
